At the invitation of the UK Department for International Trade, on May 25, 2022, in London, UK, Mr. Ian Hatton, Chairman of the EE Group attended the 12th session of the Joint Committee on Vietnam - UK Economic and Trade Cooperation (JETCO 12) chaired by Dang Hoang An, Vietnam Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and Penny Mordaunt, Member of Parliament, Minister of State for Trade Policy at the Department for International Trade (DIT). Concluding the series of events was a Roundtable seminar with the theme "Renewable Energy in Vietnam and UK Experience: Current Opportunities and Future Prospects" chaired by Dang Hoang An, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and Dr John Murton, UK Special Envoy for COP 26. At the seminar, from the UK investors, on behalf of Enterprize Energy Group, Mr. Ian Hatton presented an update on the development plan of offshore wind power projects and a hydrogen and Ammonia production project in Thang Long area, Binh Thuan province and exchanged issues related to promoting investment cooperation to help Vietnam in the energy transition, towards achieving its commitments at COP26. EE's proposals have been recognized by the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade.
