Enterprize Energy Group (EE) and the topic of Green Hydrogen in process of Industrialization, Modernization of Vietnam towards to 2030, vision to 2045

On November 10, 2021, at International Convention Center, Hanoi, Conference Session 4 with the topic “Developing the green energy and new energy in the process of industrialization, modernization towards to 2030, vision to 2045” in the framework of 3rd annual Summit on Industry 4.0, held by Central Economic Committee in combination with MoIT and Vietnam Energy Association.

There were over 50 delegates from Ministries, sectors and localities, embassy of some countries and organizations in Vietnam, and experts, scientists from universities, institutions attended in the Conference… In addition, the Conference attracted the participation of over 300 local and foreign attendees by virtual mode. 

Joining in the Q&A session, Mr. Steve Palmer, CEO Europe of Enterprize Energy Group introduced the Project of green hydrogen production and exporting from seawater electrolysis (Thang Long Wind 2 Project) at the Thang Long Zone, off the Kega Cape, Binh Thuan province.

Mr. Steve Palmer said that Enterprize Energy Group has proposed Project of green Hydrogen production and exporting from seawater electrolysis with total capacity of 2GW at offshore sea of Thang Long Wind area to Government, Ministries and Binh Thuan Province. Currently, EE Group is collaborating with Tractebel-Overdick Engineering Company of Germany to design the offshore hydrogen production system and with Sapura Energy of Malaysia to design the Floating Hydrogen Production Unit. In addition, hydrogen can be converted into green ammonia for export or domestic consumption. This project will use the existing oil and gas infrastructure and the ability to manufacture marine works of Vietnamese companies.

The project of EE Group was recognized and highly appreciated by experts attending the Conference as of making the utmost potentiality of offshore wind and partially contributing to the obtainment of Vietnam Government's goal of neutralizing carbon emissions by 2050.
